Julie owned and ran the Lemon Acupuncture Clinic in Newton Abbot from March 2010, but now practises in Highweek, Newton Abbot.

She has a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. Her training consisted of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element theory alongside conventional medical sciences, anatomy and physiology. Prior to this she also completed three years study at The School of Homeopathy, and has a Diploma in Homeopathy.

She incorporates the use of the acupuncture Balance Method to treat pain with often amazing results, and enjoys combining all disciplines to bring about improved physical, mental and emotional health.

Continuing Professional Development is an important part of Julie's work, and she regularly undertakes this to deepen and broaden her acupuncture skills.  Latest couses have included the updating of her First Aid Certificate and a Fire Cupping Workshop, and more CPD courses are planned for the coming year.  As a Member of the British Acupuncture Council, she works in accordance with a strict Code of Ethics and Practice.

She has lived, worked and brought up three children in Newton Abbot for nearly 30 years, and understands the role that complementary medicine plays as part of a healthy lifestyle for adults and young people alike.
